Advanced Practice Providers
Meet Our Nurse Practitioners
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who has completed a clinical certification program, earning a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Advanced Nursing. Every NP has a specific population focus which is reflected in their distinct credentials (FNP, ANP, AG-ACNP, AGPCNP, ACNP). A Nurse Practitioner may diagnose illnesses and physical conditions and perform therapeutic and corrective measures within his/her specialty area of practice. Practicing NP’s require national board certification which must be maintained by re-certifying every five years.
